Week 5
The office modules are being broken down and analysed with various elements.
The open-planned office seen as having a lack of privacy and exposed to people walking around them. The lack of privacy means they cannot hide away conveniently when they have their episodes and the being open to people walking around them makes them feel like they are going to be ‘attacked’ if they are being approached.
The cubicle layout makes them feel a little suffocated, and that there are no chance to discuss their ideas with the people arpund them.
Lastly the team open planned configuration for teams means no privacy from team members, and the sides are exposed to walking people around them, having a similar effect as an open planned office.
